The Cherry Parfait Rose was bred by Allain Meilland in France in 2000 and introduced in the United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 2003 and in Australia by Treloar Roses Pty Ltd as Fire and Ice. Cherry Parfait is a lovely bi-coloured Grandiflora that has light yellow to white vermillion edges. Its bi-coloured blooms make a striking display in the garden, containing 35 to 40 petals and an average of 4” diameters. The bush is quick to repeat those white flowers, broadly edged in cherry red, making them great when used in a border, or combined with other perennials, or anywhere there is a need for constant color. The plant grows loose, and spreading, covering itself in blooms and produces a slight sweet fragrance.
This rose is excellent in all climates, it can used for bed and borders, container rose, garden or landscape, it is hardy and very disease resistant. For spring pruning, remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. Cut back the remaining canes by about 1/3 in warmer climates and a little more than that in colder climates.
If you are looking for a striking rose to adorn your garden, the Cherry Parfait is an excellent choice. Not only is this bush a generous bloomer its colours hold out even through the heat of summer.

It forms a well-rounded shrub. Due to the large size of the blooms, there is a lot to be said for planting in groups of three and pruning to form a single, shapely shrub - this keeps both flowers and growth nicely balanced. Position this rose towards the front of the border.
We were honoured to name this rose for Princess Alexandra, who is a cousin to Queen Elizabeth II. She is a keen gardener and great lover of roses.

This is a rather special rose; in fact, it is possibly the best rose that we have introduced to date. Its flowers are a lovely soft shade of pink and are beautiful at all stages. They commence as prettily cupped buds, gradually opening to shallowly cupped, Old Rose style rosettes. Each bloom is about three and a half inches across. It repeat flowers well and has a strong, pleasing fragrance with distinct fruity tints. It is also one of the most disease-resistant of all the roses we know.
Named after the daughter of David Austin Junior and granddaughter of David Austin Senior.

‘Boscobel’ bears beautiful, salmon pink, upward-facing blooms, held on strong stems. They commence as red buds which open at first to pretty cups, gradually developing into classic rosettes. The numerous small petals are of varying shades, mingling to provide a most pleasing effect. The delightful, medium-strong myrrh fragrance has a hawthorn character with hints of elderflower, pear and almond.
Origin name -- Boscobel House, owned by English Heritage, was built in 1632. It is famous for the fact that Charles II hid there in an oak tree, whilst being pursued by Cromwell’s soldiers during the English Civil War.

This is one of the largest-flowered of all our English Roses, excelling in all climates. The rich golden yellow flowers are in the form of giant, full-petalled cups. These are initially tea-scented but often develop a wonderful combination of Sauternes wine and strawberry. The flowers are held beautifully poised, slightly nodding on long arching branches. The ample foliage is large, glossy and light green, resisting disease well.

A very refined yellow rose of great beauty and value – a superb example of the Leander Group at its best. The rosette-shaped flowers are particularly attractive. The centre petals are in the form of rich, deep yellow cups, while the outer petals fall back and fade to palest yellow providing a most pleasing two-tone effect. There is a lovely medium to strong tea rose fragrance. It is extremely healthy and repeat flowers well.

A variety of rather unusual colouring for an English Rose, but nonetheless very pleasing and useful for creating a little excitement in the border. Before the flowers even begin to open, the outside of the buds are a most wonderful dark red with dashes of orange. When fully open, the flowers have an attractive, incurving chalice shape. Their colouring was new to the English Roses: a lovely mixture of rich, almost tangerine orange on the inside of the petals and a more yellow orange on the outside; the whole set off against the very dark, bronzy green, polished leaves that slowly become dark green with age. The flowers have a strong, delicious, fruity fragrance with hints of pear, grape and citrus fruits. Their colour varies a little according to the season, gradually changing as more of the inner petals are exposed to create a wonderful contrast. It flowers freely and remains healthy.
The growth is fairly upright but quite broad and bushy. This rose looks wonderful in mass plantings and combines well with other plants and shrubs in the mixed border. Position towards the middle of the border or grow in a large container near to resting areas or where its wonderful scent can be appreciated.
Named after the beautiful mistress of Lord Nelson to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.
Winner of the first prize for fragrance in the Prix International at the Nantes trials in France.

This rose bears beautiful, medium-sized flowers of rich apricot colouring. They are of a flat rosette shape and slightly quartered at the centre; the outer petals falling back a little and becoming paler. They have a rich tea fragrance. The foliage and young stems are bronzy-red at first, becoming dark green over time.
A very disease resistant and reliable shrub with vigorous, rather upright growth. It is particularly suited to growing at the back of a mixed border, where it will compete well with other plants.
It is named after the model village in the Wirral built by William Hesketh Lever, where they have a beautiful garden of English Roses.
